La Virgen de Fátima Project – La Ceja, Antioquia
Design and construction connected in a single process
This project consists of a 2,562 ft² residence conceived as the forever home of a couple of older adults who, after living for several years in the United States, decided to return to Colombia to build the house they had always envisioned.
The architectural proposal is based on a reinterpreted colonial language with contemporary touches, seeking a balance between tradition, comfort, and modernity. Each space was designed to respond to a calm, functional way of living connected to the surroundings, prioritizing comfortable circulation, clear relationships between spaces, and a scale aligned with this new stage of life.

Architectural Design
The project began with a detailed analysis of the site and its potential. Approximately 49,440 ft³ of earthwork was carried out to define the footprint and access, directly shaping the building’s placement. The residence was designed in harmony with this foundation, incorporating interior gardens that strengthen the connection with the surroundings and make the landscape an essential part of the spatial experience.

Technical Drawings
The project was developed using a framed structural system, supported by fully coordinated electrical, plumbing, and gas plans integrated with the architectural design. The jacuzzi was conceived from the initial stage and technically resolved as part of the overall building systems.

Visualization & Renders
3D models, hyper-realistic renders, and a virtual walkthrough were developed to help the client fully understand the project prior to construction. The comprehensive interior design approach facilitated material and finish decisions, providing confidence before the building phase began.

Landscape & Surroundings
The landscape design was conceived as an extension of the architecture, featuring tropical gardens and native species that enhance the indoor–outdoor connection. Views toward Cerro El Capiro were strategically framed as a central element of the spatial experience.

Delivery & Final Support
The residence and its surrounding development were executed and delivered to full client satisfaction. Following completion, the client was supported during the initial occupancy phase, ensuring that every detail performed as envisioned in the design.
